Rei - Means 'spirit' or 'soul'
Ki - Means 'the energy of the Universe'
Reiki can be translated as 'universal energy' and also describes the practice of healing with energy.
This is a holistic complementary therapy for our body, mind and soul, allowing deep relaxation and inner peace.
This Reiki treatment is given by the practitioner hovering their hands few centimetres over the body.
Reiki can support healing, ease physical or mental discomfort, improve immunity, lower heart rate, ease effects of stress, anxiety or depression.
Reiki was founded in Japan by Mikao Usui in 1922.
Through it's master to student teaching tradition, Reiki is now practised Worldwide.
This healing technique integrates Buddhist tradition and the use of chakras along with the system of Reiki.
